| I really shouldn't read other people's blogs. I think most people who blog are high schoolers, with their little problems and lack of english skills. Today I have a couple errands to run, and I am taking my sister to her orthodontist appointment (typing appointment is fun). I am going to switch to google blogs soon, when I get used to using that system.

| Nothing really exciting has been going on here. I finally purchased the base for my table lamp, it looks really awesome (I cannot, for the life of me, get this picture to stand up correctly):

I absolutely love how it looks lit up. I got my sister's and Steve's project to the soldering stage. I have no idea when this will happen, since for the next week I'll be a bit busy. Tonight Amelie is staying over with Erin. They'll probably hang out tomorrow. Erin has an orthodontist appointment tomorrow, plus I have to pick up zinc for the project. Thursday Anna, Elbert and Cali are coming down to move Bobbi into Waterson ::cough::death trap::cough::. I am really going to push that they should wait until the evening to move in, not bothering during the day. I think I might have Friday to myself, which will be awesome. Saturday I am going up to my Uncle Frank's birthday ... that is going to be depressing. Monday I start school. Steve wants to see me this weekend, and I really want to see him. But, I don't know how much he is going to be working, and I don't know what all is going on for Frank's birthday. I might suggest he meet us there when we are ready to go home. Then I'll ride with him either to his house or mine.

| Erin and I went to Lincoln today to help our grandparents with cleaning their house. Greatly thrilling, or not. Basically, my grandparents are getting older (whose isn't?) and their house is really too much to deal with. They live in this three story house (like a thin mansion), my grandfather can barely make it up all of the stairs. The house is really too much for them to keep up. Plus, since they don't have air conditioning, all of the walls are bowing and wallpaper is coming down from the humidity. Honestly, they either need to stop sleeping on the third floor, or get a smaller house.
Of course, since we were in Lincoln, it was necessary to go to Abe's for candy. They have the best chocolate covered peanuts and raisins. It's a fun place to go ... It's the only place to ge (save for the Blue Dog).
On the way home we passed a band of MP's. There were around 10 hummers driving down the interstate in single file going about 60 mph. It was really cool seeing a bunch of sand coloured Hummers driving down the interestate with military people in them. Just very unusual, kind of cool.
